It’s always nice riding the latest test bike home from RCUK Towers, and the congested streets of London packed with thousands of cyclists can often serve as a good barometer of a new bicycles success.

A case in point was the first ride from my home in Herne Hill to RCUK’s HQ in Islington just this very morning, when riding past the Oval tube station another cyclist (riding a Lemond road bike) called out to me as he whizzed past: “very nice!”

So that’s a thumbs up for the new Dual already then, and he’s not hard to see why it elicited such a response. A bold black, green and white paintjob with a sprinkling of white on the bar tape, saddle and tyres does make for a sleek and very sexy looking bike.

Now, we’re never ones to judge a bike solely on looks alone, but how a bike looks is a hugely important factor, and for many will be the main priority when purchasing. So, what do you think of the Dual? Is it a thumbs up, or thumbs down?
