Clothing a professional team should provide ample opportunity for feedback from riders facing the most demanding conditions, and dhb has channeled the thoughts of the Wiggle-Honda team into the garments that make up its new ASV range: a short-sleeved jersey, long-sleeved jersey, and bib-short that, unsurprisingly, fall into the brand’s ‘professional’ tier. Expect technical fabrics in a form-fitting cut.

The graphics are a further example of the sense of fun dhb is hoping to inject into its ranges, while stepping back from the outré designs of the BLOK collection. Similarly, while the design team is confident that the ASV collection performs as well as the garments in its range-topping Goldline collection, they stress that these are pared down, race-oriented pieces, without the ‘bells and whistles’ that might be considered surplus to the requirements of a pure racer.

Garments in the ASV collection will be available in men’s sizes only (“for now,” our source at dhb tells us), from XS to XXL, and in three colour schemes. Bib-shorts will be priced at £69.99. Jerseys will cost £64.99 (short sleeve) and £69.99 (long sleeve).
