dhb Winter Sock
Rising some 4.5 inches above the ankle, the dhb Winter Sock is a decent length and so a good companion for the Vaeon Roubaix three-quarter tight we’ll be testing along side it, leaving just an inch or so of shin exposed to the elements. It’s made from a blend of polyester known to the cycle clothing industry as Thermolite.
As might be expected from the name, the sock is a reasonably hefty affair, with the greatest thickness in the heel and toe. We’ll be interested to see how much ‘feel’ it allows inside the shoe, but the greater concern at this time of year will of course be its ability or otherwise to seal out the cold.
