Nectar launch Hydro Sports Hydration Tabs
The Nectar brand launched earlier this year with an innovative sports drink. Now they’ve expanded their range to include Nectar Hydro Sports Hydration Tabs.
Nectar Fuel, which we reviewed in March, is a concentrate mixture which you can tailor to make a hypotonic, isotonic and hypertonic drink according to the dose; Nectar Hydro Tabs are a little more simple.
They’re essentially electrolyte tablets, so drop a tablet into a bottle of water and it’ll fizz away, making a hypotonic solution (for before and during exercise) which contains 5-ion (sodium, potassium, magnesium, chloride and calcium) electrolytes to help maintain optimum hydration levels and reduce the onset of cramp, according to Nectar.
Three flavours are available - light orange, lemon lime and summer fruits – and a tube of 20 costs £6.99.
