Strava launch new mobile app for iPhone and Android

Strava Routes allows users to plot training loops with builder feature

Strava have launched their new mobile app, Strava Routes, for iPhone and Android.

Ideal for anybody looking to freshen up their training loops, the app allows riders to map out new routes based on popular activities.

Strava Routes uses athlete data to recommend the best roads around the world, while the Route Builder allows users to create cycling routes in fitting with their goals and preferences.

The rise of Strava is continuing, with the brand having launched Strava Apps

Users are able to pick a start and end point as well as key points along the route to plot a trip.

Routes created on Strava.com will automatically show up in the routes list on the mobile device too, while the ‘route back to start’ feature will plot the most efficient path back to the start of the activity for those needing to head back early.

Other users’ routes can also be accessed on the app, if you star one shared with you to add it to the collection.
