Nicole Cooke continued he blistering form by winning the 8th Women’s Flèche Wallonne today. The course took in the final 106 kilometres of the men’s course (won by Italy’s Danilo Di Luca) including five climbs before the final ascent of the dreaded Mur. With this win Nicole moves up to third in the World Cup overall. So much for not being bothered about the WC overall as a season objective…
