UK Cyclosportive places

It is still possible to take part in the first British Cyclosportive. CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, has a limited number of places up for grabs.

The British Cyclosportive, which takes place on 1 July 2007, is a 120 mile route from Greenwich Park, London to Rheims Way, Canterbury. It is a very similar route to that followed by Stage 1 of the 2007 Tour de France.

CLIC Sargent places for the British Cyclosportive are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. For more information or to register, call Beverley Mackenzie at CLIC Sargent on 0845 124 1188 or email [email protected]
In return for a CLIC Sargent place, cyclists need to pay a non-returnable registration fee of £40 and pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 for the charity.

Every day in the UK, 10 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia. CLIC Sargent provides support for them and their families, both in the hospital and at home. For further information about the charity or the services it provides, log onto www.clicsargent.org.uk
