The kansi range comprises the 1twenty, with single gear and coaster rear brake, 3twenty with three-speed SRAM hub gear and V-brakes and the 9twenty, which has SRAM nine-speed derailleur shifting and the same braking operation. Prices are £499.99, £699.99 and £849.99 respectively.
Key details include: 20″ wheels for a comfortable, stable ride; quick folding action using two hinges and including a clasp to keep the folded bike folded; a choice of gear system to suit differing requirements; aluminium construction and the option of personalisation using coloured component parts. Optional extras include mudguards.
The bikes will be sold through local bicycle shops rather than through internet retailers with brand information available through the kansi website.
