UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup round six: Zolder – gallery

The motor racing circuit at Heusden-Zolder has hosted editions of the Belgian Grand Prix.

Speed, colour, and bravery were very much in evidence on Boxing Day as the UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup circus rolled into town.

Marianne Vos (Rabobank) provided further evidence to support the theory that she is the world’s best rider, riding to victory in the rainbow stripes of world cyclo-cross champion.

And Sven Nys (Landbouwkrediet-Euphony) took another step towards a seventh World Cup title by winning the third round of the 2012-13 series with another fearless display.

This gallery of photographs from Balint Hamvas captures all the action.
