Early season report card on professional cycling’s top teams

We check in on the form of the top ProTeams ahead of the UCI WorldTour's return to Europe in March

The year is nearly two months old and, with the season heating up, several of professional  cycling’s top teams are already coming into form.

Having been given a first taste of WorldTour racing in January with the season-opening Tour Down Under, the peloton has been split between those enjoying the hot weather overseas in the Middle East and others looking for form on European soil.

So with next month’s Paris-Nice marking the start of the European leg of the 2014 UCI WorldTour, we’ve checked in to see how the biggest teams are shaping up.
