Jaguar’s Ride Like a Pro competition has returned for 2014, giving the winner the chance ride with Team Sky on their winter training competition in Majorca.
The Ride Like a Pro series sees 36 non-competitive ‘ride outs’ take place from Jaguar dealers nationwide from July 26 to September 14, following a 30 to 50-mile route and with each ride followed by a Jaguar XF Sportbrake, Team Sky’s official car.
One rider from each event will be chosen at random to join the ‘grand final’, scheduled to take place in late September to early October 2014, where competitors will take place in a cycling time trial and Jaguar XF Sportbrake driving challenge.
The top male and female competitor will THEN join Team Sky on their winter training camp ahead of the 2015 season.
Jaguar has been Team Sky’s car supplier since the British-based squad’s inception in 2010 and produced a one-off, bespoke F-TYPE Coupé to support the team on stage 20 of the 2014 Tour de France.
