Sir Bradley Wiggins’ Pinarello Bolide (Tour of Britain)
Crowned British time trial champion for a third time in June, Sir Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky) was rewarded with a new Union Jack-themed Pinarello Bolide.
The bike broke cover at the Tour of Britain and currently boasts a 100 per cent win record, having been piloted to victory in London and then again at the world time trial championships in Ponferrada.
Wiggins’ patriotic bike replaces the black and gold machine (a tribute to Wiggo’s London 2012 gold medal) he rode when the Bolide was first unveiled last year.
That success hasn’t been forgotten on Wiggins’ latest getup, with a gold roundel on his Tour of Britain skinsuit, and the date and location – Hampton Court 01.08.2012 – emblazoned on the kit.
