Gaerne weren’t the only Italian shoe manufacturer to bring new footwear to Core – DMT have introduced the Vega as their new top-of-the-range road slipper.
The eagle-eyed among you may have seen the Vega on the feet of DMT-sponsored Philippe Gilbert. The shoe combines a lightweight, microfibre upper with generous mesh vents, while a double BOA closure is used to offer a finely-tuned fit and the carbon fibre sole is designed to harness the power of a puncheur like Gilbert.
It’s an understated shoe, available in black or white, and claimed weight is suitably low at 220g (per shoe for a size 41). Yours for £220.
