Fill that Hole
Fill that Hole
Potholes, the bane of every cyclist. Everybody knows of a few potholes on their favourite route that they could probably avoid with their eyes closed due to the amount of times they’ve had to make that same swerve.
But a few years ago the CTC (the national cycling charity) launched Fill my Hole, an app designed to photograph, catalogue and report potholes to the local authority whose responsibility it is to make sure that the craters on their roads are repaired.
It’s very simple to use. Just snap the pothole on your phone’s camera and the app will guide you through how to report it, which you can do right there on the spot, or wait and do it all when you get home.
Happily, the app is now available for Android as well as iOS.
