Former Jam frontman and award winning solo artist Paul Weller was an unexpected and very welcome guest at the Rapha HQ a week or so ago, needless to say they made sure he went home with a few bits of cycling gear for his latest round of gigs and appearances. He and his band will be sporting Merino Wool training tops.

Obviously it's a sure sign that Rapha has arrived as a 'cool' clothing brand, especially as the original 'Mod-father' is usually seen sporting Gucci or Paul Smith, although we've also seen him wear cycling jerseys and caps in the past (showing our age a little). As for cycling he's not much of a fan but good to see he still likes the look...

Simon Mottram, Rapha's head honcho, said:

"It's really good for Rapha and obviously I’ve just impressed my school friends."
