Prendas Ciclismo’s Cordura oversocks are one of our go-to options, thanks to their quality, low price and durability.

The Dorset-based firm’s oversocks used to be made from a fabric called Merkalon, but the switch to Cordura has improved their durability and, while oversocks are always liable to be snagged, they’re pretty tough. The fabric also offers a good level of insulation – ideal for cool conditions – and the oversocks come in black, white and high-viz yellow.
