The RS Zero is a long-sleeve winter jersey which combines two fabrics to provide insulation against cold weather.
A soft, stretchy and fleece-lined fabric is used for the majority of the jersey, but on the chest and the front that’s swapped for a windproof fabric, with the idea that these areas are exposed to the winter chill and so need additional protection. The windproof fabric isn’t fleece-lined and while it has some give in it, it’s not as stretchy as the rest of the jersey.
Otherwise, the jersey is as you’d expect, with three rear pockets and a Sugoi-branded elasticated hem, lined with a silicone gripper to support the pockets.
Like the RSE Neoshell, the RS Zero is described as having a ‘pro fit’ but our medium sample is quite generous, particularly given the amount of stretch in the fabric. The collar is also particularly high and creeps further up the neck than any other jersey we’ve tried.
The RS Zero comes in six sizes, from extra-small to extra-extra-large, and costs £79.99
