UCI WorldTour 2014: six of the best kits for the new season

Pro cycling's elite showcase their new team colours down under

Belgian team Lotto-Belisol have opted for a radical overhaul of their kit for the 2014 season, replacing their previous predominantly navy, yellow and white kits with a more simple retro red design. Having undergone a big overhaul of riders during the winter, team officials claimed the kit was designed to reflect the significant changes.

Now set to be one of just two red kits in the WorldTour peleton, alongside BMC Racing, the jersey – paired with black shorts, and featuring the colours of the Belgian flag on the collar and right cuff – will certainly guarantee increased exposure for their chief sponsors. However, leading sprinter Andre Greipel will not be wearing the new jersey, at least not until the summer, as he continues to ride in the colours of German’s champion’s jersey.
