Sigma Sport to hold Italian weekend on May 26 and 27
Bjarne Riis book signing on May 30

RCUK readers in the London area with Giro fever and a passion for all things Italian could do worse than head to the Sigma Sport cycle shop on the weekend of May 26 and 27.
The Hampton Wick uber shop is planning an Italian weekend with rare bikes and equipment, an extended Italian demo fleet, including Colnago (the C59, M10, CLX, and ACE) and Pinarello (the Dogma, ROKH, and FP2).
The Sigma Sport team is investigating the possibility of securing machines equipped with Campagnolo EPS electronic shifting.
Speaking of which, practical demonstrations will be held to demonstrate EPS in all its super stylish Italian glory, including how to set up the rear derailleur.
Connoisseurs of exquisite Italian machinery from the past may enjoy a display of historic Campagnolo components, and Italian bikes from the last 40 years, including a Colnago Ferrari CF1, and Thomas Voeckler’s back-up, 'yellow jersey' C59 frame from his heroic Tour de France campaign last year.
A gold plated, 1979 Colnago Mexico, made in a set of 15 from which one model was selected by Ernesto Colnago for presentation to the Pope in 1979, is also scheduled to make an appearance (not the Pontiff's, obviously).
And if you fancy sporting the Italian team look, customers purchasing on May 26 or May 27 will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win one of three sets of Castelli Team Italia kit.
On Wednesday May 30, winner of the 1996 Tour de France, Bjarne Riis, will be signing copies of the new translation of his autobiography, Stages of Light and Dark.
The Saxo Bank boss famously admitted to doping 11 years after his Tour triumph.
Doors open at 7pm. A question and answer session will be held at 7.45pm. The Dane will sign books from 8.15pm to 8.30pm, before answering questions submitted by the audience from 8.30pm to 9pm.
