As the most successful track cycling series in the UK gets set to start its third season on October 15th at Manchester Velodrome, plans are in motion to arrange a spectacular season opener to rival the all - British extravaganza’s which have traditionally kicked off the series’ to date.

With 10 World Champions confirmed to ride the event, the first names to be release on the rider list are the reigning Team Pursuit World Champions Rob Hayles, Paul Manning and Chris Newton. The three stars of the track have had a great season on the road with their Recycling Team taking numerous domestic wins this season including the Tour of the Peak, the Newport Nocturne and a very strong team showing at the Tour of Britain.

The boys are no strangers to the Revolution events, all having ridden during the previous two seasons, but this will be the first time they will all be wearing coveted rainbow jerseys. Rob Hayles, who is double world champion having also won the Madison event in Los Angeles with Mark Cavendish is looking forward to getting back in front of his home crowd and showing off his new look:

“We’ve worked really hard all year and it’s going to be cool to ride at Revolution this year as World Champions, I can’t wait to get back in front of the crowds in Manchester - we always get such a brilliant reception."

With the international contingent and many of the other UK stars still to be announced, Revolution is once again shaping up to be the highlight of the British Track season.
