More than 1,000 of the world’s best cyclists will be heading to the Innsbruck-Tirol region of Austria this autumn to battle it out for the title of world champion, and you can now secure your place too.
Tickets for the finish area are available from €9.90, and will guarantee you a front-row spot in front of the backdrop for all of the World Championships’ finishes – the Alpine city’s Hofburg Imperial Palace. Both the team time trial and men’s time trial days will cost €14.90 respectively, while the price increases to €24.90 if you want to see Peter Sagan attempt to win the men's elite road race for the fourth time in a row.
As well as watching the action unfold, ticket holders will get access to parties and concerts, ceremony presentations, discount on merchandise and free use of public transport throughout the region. VIP tickets are also available for all eight days of racing, with prices starting at €180.00.
The UCI Road World Championships will be taking place from September 22-30. Racing kicks off on with the women and men’s team time trials, before concluding a week later with the Sagan's showdown in the road race. Whoever comes away with the rainbow jersey in each race will have won on one of the most challenging courses in recent years – the flagship event of the cycling worlds featuring 258.5km of racing and an elevation gain of 4,670m.
