The Criterium du Dauphine 2018 will showcase the form of some of the leading riders set to challenge Giro d’Italia champion Chris Froome (Team Sky) at the Tour de France.

Long viewed as the traditional form finder for the Tour, the 2018 edition has retained a strong startlist despite being further away from the Tour on the calendar than usual (due to the FIFA World Cup in between, and Tour bosses bidding to avoid a clash).
