Stage two – Monday 8 September – Knowsley to Llandudno

Race director Mick Bennett: “For those fans, Monday morning presents another chance to see the race nearby as we return to Knowsley, scene of our time trial last year. From Knowsley we’ll be heading to North Wales, with a stage finishing on Llandudno promenade. The closing kilometres will see the peloton racing around the coast of the Great Orme, something I’m sure will look fantastic on television coverage. It’s one of the most spectacular last ten kilometres of any race I’ve experienced.”
