Specialized CVNDSH Collection Cycling Shoes 2015 Review

The Specialized CVNDSH Collection was unveiled in 2015 and the initial range, a collaboration between the American brand and Mark Cavendish, includes a short-sleeve jersey, bib shorts, mitts, helmet, saddle and these shoes. The Specialized CVNDSH Collection shoe is based on Specialized’s existing, top-tier S-Works shoe, given a green and white makeover and with the CVNDSH logo on the sole and tongue.

But, other than an endorsement from the greatest road sprinter of all-time, what else makes the shoe so special? Specialized claim the shoe provides everything needed to translate power into speed – Cav’s speciality, then – with a ‘Powerline’ carbon fibre sole which is their lightest and stiffest to date, a supple and supportive upper and two BOA dials, along with a single Velcro strap, to fine-tune the fit.
