It is not just the iconic mountain passes of the Alps and Pyrenees to tackle this year, with the Vosges returning this year – and the summit finish on La Planches des Belles Filles.

Nobody could keep up with Team Sky’s super-domestique Chris Froome in 2012, when the Kenyan-born Brit blasted to the stage win.

This time out, all eyes will be on the Team Sky man, now defending champion of course, again while it could present the likes of Joaquim Rodriguez (Katusha) with their first chance to shine at this year’s race.

The bone-shaking cobbles of stage five have also been mapped out, allowing you the chance to test your skills on the pavé against Strava Pro and Paris-Roubaix winner Niki Terpstra (Omega Pharma-Quickstep).
