Australian Shane Sutton is the current head coach of British Cycling and performance advisor for Sky. He has worked closely with Sir Dave Brailsford for almost a decade and is one of the men behind British cycling’s recent success. His achievements were recognised in 2008 when he named as national Coach of the Year.
Sutton had an eleven year career for a multitude of teams, it peaked with a victory in the 1990 Milk Race as well as winning gold in the Team Pursuit in the 1978 Commonwealth Games.
