Another busy week for cycling means there has been plenty going on at RCUK Towers over the last seven days.
Britain’s cycling stars continued to rule the roost with success at Manchester’s UCI Track World Cup event, and our regular columnist, world champion, Andy Tennant, gave us the inside line on how the men’s team pursuit quartet won gold.
It wasn’t just the established order who impressed either, and we caught up with Scotland’s teen sensation Katie Archibald and rising Welsh star Owain Doull to discuss their remarkable success, too.
Away from the track, former seven-time national champion Helen Wyman retained her European Championship title with a stunning long attack in the Czech Republic, just days after winning the prestigious Koppenbergcross for a second consecutive year.
But she told us she will not be resting on her laurels, with bigger targets still to come this season.
Closer to home, and with the winter weather continuing to bear down on us, endurance rider, Mike Cotty, gave us some pointers on planning winter training, while we took a look at plenty of gear to add to this year’s Christmas lists.
Excitement is also continuing to build for 2014, with sportives being announced thick and fast, and Tour de France organisers announcing their 2015 Grand Depart host city.
Missed anything this week? Never fear, we have rounded up the best of the last seven days on the following pages. Check them out!
