We’ve made little secret of our admiration for Sussex bike brand, Kinesis, adopting the Racelight TK3 (now known as the 4S) as our ‘test rig’, placing the GF_Ti V2 at the centre of our most recent winter bike build project, and lavishing praise upon the racy Aithein.
One of the many rewarding aspects of our sport is its ability to create communities, and the axis between West Sussex-based Upgrade Bikes, distributor of Kinesis, and Brighton-based clothing brand, Morvelo, has already given birth to a number of interesting projects, including Spin-Up in a Brewery, a roller racing event at Upgrade’s Partridge Green neighbours, the Dark Star Brewing Company.
We digress. Impressed by the handiwork of Brighton graffiti artist, AroeMSK, not to mention the Aithein, Morvelo founders, Oli Pepper and Dave Marcar, approached the man with the cans and let him loose on its aluminium chassis and a set of Reynolds Attack carbon wheels.
The result is the striking machine displayed in the gallery below.
