British and Commonwealth Games time trial champion Alex Dowsett has joined UK cycling insurance specialists PedalSure as an ambassador.
Dowsett, who rides for Movistar on the road and also held the UCI Hour Record for a time this year, says he is proud to work alongside the company.
Dowsett also runs the charitable foundation Little Bleeders to raise awareness of haemophilia, something he himself suffers from.
PedalSure offer a comprehensive insurance policy for cyclists, which covers both the rider and the bike, and say many home/life insurance policies fail to adequately cover or address both areas.
