RoadCyclingUK.com and BikeMagic.com have a new staff writer in their ranks with the appointment of George Scott to the team. Formerly of Eurosport, George has long been on two knobbly-tyred wheels before taking to the road on 700cc tyres earlier this year.

He can be seen riding between Beckenham and the North Downs, with the inevitable hills in between, attempting to earn his stripes in the late summer sunshine before the winter ahead.

George is getting his teeth firmly stuck into the sport, starting with his debut sportive, and is looking ahead to many years of club-runs, racing and, God forbid, time-trialling.

A keen rower at university, George has been converted to all things cycling and is looking forward to adding his two pennies’ worth across the two websites, be it on technology, training or anything else in between.
