After watching the start of the 2010 Tour of Flanders, we (D Arthur, N Webb, G Smith) high-tailed it to the first feed zone on the route, which comes after about 100km of racing.
Now, usually feed zones aren’t of much interest to spectators, but this being the Tour of Flanders, the road was swamped with a massive crowd. For the soigneurs, it made the always tricky and highly dangerous job of passing musettes to their riders even more trickier than usual.
