Hearing instruments manufacturer Phonak has turned its attention to the MP3 generation, with the release of the new Audéo PFE earphones.
They’re said to offer “excellent sound quality at a lower, safer volume to reduce the risk of hearing damage,” which sounds ideal for those of us who enjoy listening to music while out cycling.
The ergonomically designed earphones can be customised to different ear canals, by using one of three ear-tip sizes which ensures increased comfort, minimises unwanted background noise and guarantees crystal-clear sound quality without damage-causing sound levels.
The lightweight Audéo PFE earphones (just 14g) include specially designed filters allowing the bass and treble levels to be configured to fit the listener’s preference. For those who prefer a more secure fit, silicone ear guides are provided for increased stability and less cable noise.
The earphones are also available with a built in hands-free kit for use with all generations of the iPhone. available in black or white exclusively via KS Distribution from www.audeoworld.com, priced £119.99 (£129.99 including iPhone hands-free function). Compatible with all standard MP3 players and devices with a 3.5mm stereo jack.
