Here’s a taster of a short film about the Rapha Condor Sharp team, due to be premiered tomorrow at a ‘meet the team’ day.
The six minute film, Sella, is the work of Andrew Telling, winner of a team competition to travel with the squad to their pre-season training camp in southern Spain.
The team, who won last year’s Halfords Tour Series, are following a new direction this season, developing a crop of under-23 riders alongside a core of experienced riders.
Ed Clancy and Andy Tennant, both members of Great Britain’s newly-crowned team pursuit world champions, will race again for Rapha Condor Sharp this year.
Former national road race champion, Kristian House, James McCallum, and Dean Downing will also provide valuable experience.
Ben Grenda, 22, one of the team’s new recruits, finished second at the opening race of the British Cycling Premier Calendar Series, the Maldon Dengie Tour, earlier this month.
Speaking before the season, team manager, John Herety, told RoadCyclingUK his team would adopt a ‘business as usual’ approach to the Halfords Tour Series, which begins in Kirkcaldy on Tuesday May 15.
A full version of Andrew Telling’s film will be released on the Rapha Condor Sharp website on Wednesday April 18.
