dhb Finchdean bib shorts £64.99
These bibs offer a simple yet effective design. From the light-weight, full body bib design down to the leg grippers these bibs are designed to provide optimum movement and comfort. You don’t feel restricted at all when putting the miles in and, for the amount of material on the upper body, the bibs are surprisingly light and cool thanks to the breathable properties of the material and the mesh back panel.
What we like about the snug fit and fuller body of these bibs is that they give you all the confidence you need when you’re riding or racing and you don’t have to worry about straps slipping around as you put the power down. After years of making-do with men’s shorts this has become a concern which we were happy to eliminate.
Anatomic panelling and flatlock seams make for a snug race fit without any cutting in or rubbing and the chamois is designed for performance, which we found really effective as we clocked up the miles. This seamless, stretchy, “Silver Dry” “Cool Max” pad features anti-bacterial properties and the foam varies in thickness for increased protection where you really need it on higher pressure areas like the sit-bone area for example.
Using the latest soft-touch Meryl Actisystem fabric throughout the short, the fibers have an open-weave textile structure to facilitate the transport of body moisture and increase the drying speed of the fabric, meaning that your skin stays dry when you push your body to the limit.
Verdict
At only £64.99 these bibs offer incredible value for money and feel like a touch of luxury without loosening the purse strings too much.
