TIME bicycles, once a supplier to Bradley Wiggins while a member of the Cofidis team, could be coming to a town near you.
The French manufacturer has signed an exclusive distribution deal for the UK and Ireland with Extra, the firm that brings brands including Fi;z:ik, Intense, Topeak, and Easton in to the country.
Under the new agreement, Time road frames will be available only from bricks and mortar establishments. Extra are keeping their dealer list under wraps at the moment, but when we have more information on the likely destination of these French fancies, we’ll let you know.
Shop staff are to be offered a training programme on the brand’s proprietary Resin Transfer Moulding Technology, which they claim allows their engineers to control the characteristics of each layer of carbon.
Extra will also distribute TIME’s range of clipless pedals, first glimpsed in cycling’s top tier in the early 1990s beneath the feet of five-time Tour winner, Miguel Indurain.
