Ritchey have a fondness for keenly designed products and its no surprise so many teams choose to fit bars, stems and seatposts from the US-based company.

The latest product to arrive is these WCS Echelon pedals. They use a Look-style design and feature a 6061 aluminium body and chromoly axle and an adjustable retention claw made of carbon-resin composite.

They weigh 233g, but Ritchey claim they have great strength and durability for their compact size. The distance between the axle and body platform has been kept low to get your foot as close to the axle as possible, while the lightweight cleat provides a wide platform for greater foot support.

No word on the UK price yet, but in the US they’re $189.95.
