In London this summer? Fancy watching the final two stages of the Tour and the Olympic road races with cycling fans?
The Rapha Cycle Club London has opened its doors at 85 Brewer Street, Soho.
As well as screening the action from France and the Games, Rapha promise cycling memorabilia, the finest coffee, free wi-fi, food, and, of course, a chance to buy their clothing and accessories, including items from their Cycle Club collection.
The shop will open between 7.30am and 8pm from Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 8pm on Saturdays, and from 10am to 6pm on Sundays.
If Wiggins wins the Tour on Sunday (22), Rapha have pledged to stand a free glass of champagne for everyone in their London club.
If you’re cycling in the capital this month and next, check your spokes for loyalty cards. Rapha riders will be surreptitiously distributing them, allowing the recipients to claim a free coffee.
The mysterious deliverers of spoke cards will be just some of the cyclists pedaling the capital’s streets for the brand this summer. In a bid to beat the traffic crush expected for the Olympic Games, Rapha has commissioned couriers for deliveries to customers in central London at no extra cost.
Naturally, Rapha’s couriers will not be making deliveries in mismatched kit, but will instead be clad in a special version of the brand’s Classic jersey, and carrying a one-off design Mission Workshop courier bag. Customers ordering during the Olympics will be entered into a draw to win one of the bags, which Rapha have pledged to deliver…by courier.
