The latest and, quite possibly, tastiest offering from up and coming sports nutrition specialist Mule Bar goes by the name ReFuel and is formulated to do exactly as its label suggests.

This it does by providing 261 kcals per 65g bar from 13g of protein, 38g of carbohydrates and 7g of fat. There’s some fibre and sodium in there as well. Of course, being a Mule Bar, all ingredients are entirely natural; in the case of the Chocolate Date flavour, rice syrup, dates, whey protein, almonds, cocoa and, er, chocolate drops.

In case anyone is wondering, it all adds up to a bar that is actually quite nice to eat. Indeed, one colleague was moved to describe the Chocolate Date bar as the best energy bar he had tried. Also available on Chocolate Banana flavour. Price £1.89 per bar.
