The race against the clock is all about making the smallest advantages count, so every attention must be paid to the small details. Elite thinks its new Kit Time Trial water bottle and bottle cage could help with the small gains that count.
Elite has designed an aerodynamic water bottle and carbon fibre bottle cage that have been developed in the wind tunnel to be as slippery in the air as possible. The setup is also light, with the cage weighing just 28g and the whole lot a measly 80g.
The plastic bottle is easy to extract and reinsert in the cage, and has a rubber nozzle and an ergonomic form that’s easy to grip.
The price for the Kit Time Trial is a whopping €75. Watch out for it on Team Columbia’s Scott Plasma 3 time trials bikes this year.
