Gore Bike Wear’s range of shorts has been seriously impressing RCUK in recent years, and the great strides being made by the company are paying dividends: its shorts just keep on getting more comfortable.

The mid-level Power Bib Tights are a good example of this. The pad in these shorts is perfect, providing just the right thickness in the key areas to make saddle discomfort obsolete but without feeling bulky between the legs.

Meanwhile, the eight-panel design is shaped for the typical cyclist posture and seams are placed well out of harm’s way. A mesh insert keeps the heat down and the gripper elastic keeps the hem in place. Reflective logos finish off the list of features.
