It’s certainly the time for new team bike launches. We had the 2008 Specialized Tarmac SL2 earlier this week. Now, from another of the big US companies involved at the pro level of the sport, comes news of the 2008 Team Liquigas Cannondale Super Six.
Introduced last year, the Super Six is Cannondale’s first all-carbon bike, and was used to quite some effect by the Liquigas team last year. For 2008 the team continues to find support from Cannondale, with the newly liveried bike being launched this week.
The Super Six features a high modulus, unidirectional carbon fibre frame with a one-piece bottom bracket/chainstay moulding. Also featured is Cannondale’s rapidly-being-adopted-standard BB30 integrated Hollowgram Si crankset and integrated Si fork with matching tapered head tube.
The riders will be using Campagnolo, Fulcrum, fi:zi’k, FSA, LOOK and Vittoria parts.
