I’ve always wanted a Tommasini, from when I first started racing in the mid to late 80’s. For me, they were the best looking things on 2 wheels, but there was no way I could ever afford one back then. I managed to get hold of this one about 2 years ago now from eBay (where else!) and got it for a song.
The paint was in quite poor nick when I actually received the frame, and I wondered what to do. I thought about taking it to Argos here in Bristol, but that just didn’t feel right, so I contacted the UK importers to see if I could get her sent home for the respray. 3 months later I got her back as you see her now. It actually worked out cheaper as well!
