Top cycling photographer, Roz Jones, is more used to shooting the stars of professional cycling than the humble sportivist.
But at an event like the RideLondon-Surrey 100, where dedicated amateurs cycled on excatly the same roads as the professionals in the subsequent RideLondon-Surrey Classic, everyone is a star.

Some 20,000 riders started yesterday’s event, selected in a ballot from 52,000 entries. Next year could be bigger still.
