If you fancy meeting some of the riders from the Cannondale Pro Cycling squad, fresh after finishing the Tour of Britain, get yourself to Sigma Sport in Hampton Wick from 3pm on Monday September 27.
The UCI WorldTour team members will visit the store as part of an event to celebrate the addition of Cannondale to Sigma Sport’s portfolio of brands.
Ian Whittingham, Sigma Sport’s managing director, said: “We’re delighted to have such a great brand like Cannondale join our portfolio.
“We’re lucky to represent a fantastic range in the store and we feel the addition of Cannondale can only benefit our customers by offering even more choice at a range of prices.”
The Italian squad will send a six-man team to the Tour of Britain, which starts in the Scottish town of Peebles on Sunday (September 15, 2013).
Sprinter, Elia Viviani, Juraj Sagan, brother of Tour de France green jersey winner, Peter, and climber, Alan Marangoni, will be among those riding in the team’s trademark lime green.
IG-Sigma Sport will be one of six British UCI Continental teams taking part in the tenth edition of the modern Tour of Britain, billed as having the most challenging route yet.
Pete Williams, winner of the points jersey at last year’s Tour of Britain, will be among the Surrey team’s line-up, which also includes Belfast’s Pete Hawkins, and Dutch powerhouse, Wouter Sybrandy.
Road captain, James Moss, new signing Ben Greenwood, and Matt Cronshaw will complete the line-up.
