Despite its 107-year history, Italian bike brand, Wilier-Triestina, operates in an impressively modern facility.
The factory lies in the heart of northern Italy’s cycling heartland, in the same region as luminaries including Campagnolo, Pinarello, and Selle Italia.
While production of the company’s frames now takes place in the Far East, design and assembly is still conducted in-house.
We were invited to look around the Rossano Veneto facility on a recent trip with Wilier’s UK distributor, ATB Sales.
The bikes of Ballan, Pantani, and Petacchi were among those in the showroom, while the foyer contained some of the copper-coloured, steel-framed machines that were once Wilier’s signature.
