Howies are off to the Wales National Velodrome in Newport on February 20 for a morning of track riding, coached by the professional from Welsh Cycling – and you could join them.

We’ve got a spot for you and a friend to give away, where you’ll learn how to pedal the boards at one of the best indoor tracks in Britain.

howies, whose team finished third in the Revolution track series, will provide all the equipment you’ll need – bike, helmet etc – all you have to bring is your legs (and something super-tight to ride in). The winner will be announced on Monday February 13. Good luck.

Ts & Cs: We (howies) are not making you do this mad thing, you are choosing to do it of your own free will. Track cycling is hard, when you fall off all kinds of injuries happen. We’re sure you’ll have fun but track can be dangerous. And this won’t be like a commute to work, so you have to bring your fast legs. By entering you agree to taking charge of your own cuts and bruises and anything broken, impaled or hanging off. Winners need to arrange their own transport to Newport Velodrome. Bikes, helmets and mitts are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Winners should also bring something super tight to ride in.
