Congratulations to Oliver Emmett, winner of a box set of city guides published by Rapha and Thames and Hudson.
Oliver was chosen at random from among the hundreds of entrants who answered our question correctly.
We asked you to identify which of the three European capitals in our multiple choice question hosted the final stage of the Giro d’Italia in 2012.
Nearly every entrant chose the correct answer: Milan.
Copenhagen was the first of our two red herrings. The Grand Partenza of the 2012 Giro was held in Denmark, but it was from the central Danish town of Herning that the riders rolled out, and not the capital.
Our second decoy was Antwerp: like Milan and Copenhagen, cities covered by authors Max Leonard and Andy Edwards in the City Cycling Europe box set.
The Tour de France passed through Antwerp en route from Rotterdam to Brussels on stage one of the 2010 race.
London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, and Paris are the other cities featured in the box set, which is on sale now, priced at £25.
Many thanks to all who entered.
