Bike mechanics courses at Downland Cycles

Downland Cycles offer a range of cycle maintenance courses, based on the Park Tool School for cyclists who wish to learn how to keep their own bikes on the road. They are very woman friendly and have had some great feedback from women who’ve sucessfully completed their courses.

The workshops are held within a working Cycle Shop, so along with your course material you will get to see all manner of repairs and bikes coming in to the workshop during your stay. The majority of the workshop is equipped with Park Tools and it is possible to buy these as well as any replacement parts you need for your bike at heavily discounted prices.

Testimonials include: Julie West – “as a triathlete I have found that I can travel abroad and put my bike back together in perfect working order without relying on others.”
