Billato is one of Europe’s top specialist lightweight frame builders. Building frames for riders from many pro-teams and with wins in World Championships (on & off road), Classic’s and even the Tour de France overall, their pedigree is pretty impressive. Indeed there are less than a handful of frame manufacturers that can boast such a long list of victories, they cannot say who they’ve made bikes for, as their riders have had their bikes re-stickered by their sponsors.

Their range is interesting in that it offers frameset in all materials; Carbon. Ti, Aluminium and steel. The frame pictured, above right, is their rather tasty looking titanium/carbon offering.

Billato Linea Telai was founded in 1954 by Silvio Billato with a vision of producing frames for the elite of the Italian race scene. Today the son’s of Silvio – Roberto, Silvano and Stefano currently produce some of the finest hand built frames available from Italy and have been responsible for many of the latest techniques and materials used today.

UK company Onimpex are looking for 30 dealers who are capable of handling such a bespoke brand and with over half that amount already signed up there are just a few positions left.
