The RCUK100 launched in 2015- our guide to the very best 100 products in road cycling. Now it’s back for 2016, showcasing the top bikes, wheels and tyres, groupsets, apparel, finishing kit and accessories of the year.

This year we’re taking the RCUK100 online, bringing you more words, more stunning images and, on top of that, selected video. What’s made it into the RCUK100? You’ll have to wait to find out, but check out the video above for a teaser of what you can expect.

Every product in the RCUK100 is chosen exclusively by the RoadCyclingUK editorial team and we’ve whittled our selections down over the past five months to arrive at final 100. It’s not an easy task and inevitably some great products have to get left out, but the RCUK100 highlights the breadth of top-class kit out there for riders in 2016.

We’ve ridden and tested stacks of kit over the past year, and attended dozens of product launches and shows, and that’s given us the chance to get to grips with countless products, from aero road bikes to training tyres, turbo trainers to saddles, and the RCUK100 puts the best of those products in the spotlight.

The RCUK100 also highlights the most innovative, ground-breaking, trend-setting and of the year, as well as those which we think will have the biggest impact in 2016. We’ve also made a nod towards products which stray away from the norm, and those which offer plenty of bang for your buck.
